Tips and Tricks on Voice Over and Audiobook Narration

Chat about your favourite audiobooks and narrators | A Place for Authors and Narrators, Clients and Talent to Connect!

What is The Audiobook Guy?

The Audiobook Guy is a new Blog, Forum and Social Site, to chat about all things Audiobooks and Voice Over! We will be sharing tips on Voice Over, Audiobook Creation, Software and Hardware choices for Voice Over, Building DIY Recording Spaces, and much more!

We also offer Production Services. If you want support in casting, producing or mastering your Audiobook or Voice Over masterpiece, we have got you covered!

There is a Forum for you to ask your questions and share your own tips and tricks! There will also be Live Reads, Interviews with Authors, and exciting info about the industry as a whole!

Lastly, you can create a Members Profile, so as you meet people on the site you can connect! Allowing authors and clients to connect with narrators and talent. Talent can embed their reels in the 'About' section of their profile, link their website and socials, so they can share samples and updates to help promote their work ! We use talent profiles to cast projects, and the more members we have the more clients will use us for casting! So come join our community!

What can I access?

We are still new and making content, but for now, you can get early access to some blog posts, set up a profile to start connecting and check out our reference documents!

They include quick links to tutorials on using software, configuration files and FX chains, tips on Voice Work, ideas for recording spaces and set-up, audiobook preparation sheets, and sample contracts (please note Kevin is not a lawyer so cannot be held responsible if you use these contracts!)

We would love to hear from you in our Forum with suggestions for new posts! Let us know what tutorials you need, what reviews you would like, and any content that would help you to be your best as a Narrator and Voice Over Talent!
